Aromatic Herbs are among the most important resources for cooking.
Besides having a pleasant appearance and an intense scent, they give food a stronger aroma and, if properly used, they allow to substantially reduce the use of condiments.
Most aromatic herbs should be consumed fresh.
Vegetables are essential elements for a healthy diet, edible products of herbaceous plants farmed in vegetable gardens for food supply.
In some vegetables we just eat the leaves (lettuce, for example), or just the trunk (celery), the roots (carrots), the tubers (potatoes), the bulbs (onions) or the flowers (broccoli); in some even the fruits (such as tomatoes, for example) or the seeds (peas, for example).
Vegetables are usually rich in vitamins, dietary elements and fibres, while being very low in fat and proteins.
Together with cereals and legumes, they are essential elements for a healthy diet.
